GRADER TYRES - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW MUCH DOES A MOTOR GRADER TYRE WEIGHT?

The motor grader tyre weight depends of the size. The average the grader tyre weight is between 100kg to 500kg. A dump truck tyres wheigh between 230Kg and 1500kg

WHAT IS THE RIGHT MOTOR GRADER TYRE PRESSURE?

The motor grader pressure should be not higher than 4,00 bar to optimized the levelling cycle. On the road the pressure can be increased for lower fuel comsumption.

HOW TO CHOOSE MY GRADER TYRES?

The grader tyres must be choosen depending of the risk of puncture and the type of soil. If you are in very agressive condition used a MICHELIN XLDD2 tread pattern. If you are going on the road with high traction used or MICHELIN XHA2 or MICHELIN XTLA tread patern. Discover our article to choose your tyres.
